Invite your core family, extended members and trusted contacts to your Spaces and manage what you share with each of them

Set up contacts for the Spacetalk Watch

Add all your trusted contacts in one Space so they can call and message the Spacetalk Watch

Tap on the ‘+’ button from any Space.

Create a new Space.
Create a Space for the watch contacts (you can call this whatever you want, but it might be easier to call it “Watch Contacts” as above).

Tap “Add members to your Space”.

Select invite members to invite in the option displayed above.
Add the managed member with the watch (for example, your child) as well as any member you want to allow to contact them, by tapping the + button. Once you have invited everyone, tap “Done”.
Go to the new Space you created and tap on the settings icon in the top right corner.

Adjust the settings to your preference of what interactions can take place with the watch. Tap the plus icon above to learn what each setting impacts.

All done! Everyone in that Space will be able to interact with the watch based on the settings in the previous step. You’ll start to see the members appear in the Space as they accept your invitation and install the app.

Set up Places

Add Places in a Space to get notified when the members of the Space arrive or leave frequent locations like home, school, and others.

Tap on the plus button from the Space you want to set up the places on.

Select a Place you want to add from the example ones, or tap in Add a Place.
To set up the Place, just enter the address and if you want, adjust the radius.
You can edit the name and icon and select what members you’d like to get notifications for when they arrive at or leave the Place.

Set up Routes

Adding Routes in a Space means you get notified when members of the Space are on frequent routes like route to school, commute, and others.

Tap on the + button from the Space in which you want to set up the Route.
Select “Add Route”.

Select the starting and ending point of the Route. If you have set up Places like School or Home, you will be able to select them directly.
In the preview of the Route you are creating, you can decide how much deviation is allowed from the set Route.
Finally, name the Route and select what member triggers notifications when they are on that route.

How to set up a new Space

Get all your trusted contacts sorted and choose what you share with each group easily.

Tap on the “+” button on the app home page to expand the menu.

Select “Create a new Space” from the menu options.

Name your Space and tap “Done”.
Tap “Add members to your Space”.

Select “Invite members” option as shown above.
You can change what you share with each Space in the Space settings option.
Tap on the “What you share” option shown above. If you scroll further down, you can also manage what all your managed members share in each space via the “Member management” option and tapping on the member name.
Select what you want to share with that Space and tap “Apply”. You can select and change settings for each Space at any time.

Adjust what data you share in each Space

Adjust the Space data sharing settings to control what data about you and your managed members is visible to the other members of each Space (e.g., location, chat).

Go to the Space you want to adjust the settings on and tap the Settings icon.
To change what you share in that Space, tap “What you share”.

To change what your child shares in this Space, select "Member management".
Tap your child profile in the list.

Adjust the settings of what your child shares with the members of the Space and tap apply.

Set up School Mode

Avoid distractions for your child by setting up custom schedules with the Spacetalk Watch School Mode functionalities.

Tap the “Profile” icon on the bottom menu. Then, tap the watch you want to edit the settings of.

In the “Watch settings”, scroll down and tap “School mode”.

Switch on the “Allow school mode” button.
In the Schedules section, tap the “+” icon to create a schedule.
You are now creating a new School mode schedule. Configure the settings to whatever options best suit your lifestyle. Select the school option schedule and what you allow to use during that time.

Save your School Mode schedule and you’re done. You can add as many schedules as you want!
